February is a good time to start adding some light weight sweaters to your closet. Before we know it March will be here and the weather will start to break (hopefully). However, I am ALWAYS cold so I usually wear sweaters right into April. You know those people you see who wear shorts when the temps hit 60 degrees? Yeah, not me. I get cold just looking at them. BUT I do want to start to transition to lighter sweaters and this one is the perfect light weight turtleneck for doing that.
I pretty much have never met a brown sweater that I didn’t love. You can easily pair this with lighter colored booties or peep toe booties once spring comes.
And of course you know I love the oversized fit. You can layer this one up with a long sleeve top underneath. It was so cold the day we shot this that you can see my black shirt peaking out from underneath. Oops!
The length is perfect with skinny jeans or leggings. I’m wearing a small for size reference.
Overall just another great spring transition sweater. Make sure you use my code “houseofleoblog” for 20% off this sweater. In case you missed it I featured another light weight sweater in this post that will take you right into the warmer months.
Just a funny, but not so funny story about this shoot. Summer kept complaining about her stomach all day but I honestly thought she was faking it because she was playing on and off and snacking on junk food. We loaded her into the car to go shoot blog pictures. We had 3 looks to shoot. We shot the first look while she napped in the car (BTW we park the truck right next to where we shoot so no worries there lol). Then I changed in the car into this outfit and she woke up. We shot this look and when I got into the truck to change into the 3rd outfit she said, “Daddy I’m gonna throw up” and yup you can guess what happened next. She threw up in the car! Erik couldn’t open the plastic bag fast enough and it was all over her. So gross! See how glamorous behind the scenes of blogging is?! LOL. Anyway, we obviously didn’t shoot the 3rd look. We had a tough night with her but by Sunday late morning Summer was so much better. Less than 24 hours! THANK GOODNESS! And in case you are wondering — no, the car doesn’t smell anymore! Just glad it was Erik’s truck and not my car. Sorry Erik!
