I don’t know what it is but so much is happening for my little blog. For the first time in a year I actually had to map out an entire month of content for the blog and Instagram. I have landed some exciting collaborations for the month of May. I have HOLB’s 1 year blogiversary coming up and outside of blog land I have Summer’s ballet recital and family obligations. THINGS ARE BUSY! I am not complaining at all. It’s all so exciting but it’s all so much to keep up with. With my busy calendar I decided to let DailyLook step in again and do some shopping for me.
In case you missed it I featured my first experience with DailyLook in this post. I ran through who the company is and exactly what they do. But to recap for you quickly DailyLook is a subscription box service that enlists a stylist to handpick clothes and accessories for you based on a styling quiz that you fill out. They cater to find you items that fit your lifestyle, allow you to try new trends and take the time consuming work out of shopping for yourself.
What really sets DailyLook apart from other subscription box services is the brands that they offer. From DL1961, Hudson, BB Dakota and J Brand just to name a few DailyLook has all of the best designer pieces to fill your monthly box. You get up to 12 pieces personally chosen for you with free shipping and returns. Keep what you want and send back what you don’t love. You’ll be charged a $40 styling fee but keep anything in your box and they apply the fee towards your purchase.
With my busy month I asked DailyLook to send me a spring and summer styled box. I was hoping for summery dresses and they delivered once again. I fell in love with this tulip wrap dress. Probably one of the most classic pieces a woman can have in her closet is a wrap dress. Timeless, flattering and in a solid color this one is a dress that would get worn for years.
I never would have thought to order this for myself but I love how DailyLook will not only send me new trends and labels to try but classic pieces that never go out of style. That beautiful blue box they send you is filled with a little bit of everything.
Some of the other pieces I received this time around was a lightweight sweater perfect worn with cutoff shorts for summer evenings, a classic white wrap tank and a gorgeous black tunic all from Velvet by Graham and Spencer. Priced under $100 each was a BCBG Generation cold shoulder top and an adorable OTS with puff sleeves.
With busy months of graduations, communions, recitals and family parties coming up I highly recommend enlisting DailyLook to not only style you for these spring and summer events but give you back the time you need and do the shopping for you. I promise you that you’ll find at least an item or two or three or four that you’ll fall in love with and add to your wardrobe!
Don’t delay ladies. Those events are fast approaching. Get started on your style quiz here. That beautiful blue box will be on your doorstep before you know it.
