So I never really got into the romper trend. Don’t get me wrong. I love the trend, but I just don’t have a big need for it. I get dressed up during the week for work and the weekends I tend to grab distressed denim shorts with cute tanks. Date night I usually go for distressed jeans (you know how much I LOVE distressed, distressed, distressed!). So more rompers just never really made it into my closet. I do have one though that I’ve had awhile and I still love it. I got it years ago from a boutique so I don’t know the brand but it’s the softest material ever.
As I was looking at it in my closet the other day it dawned on me that the color is so perfect for fall, but who wants to wear summery looking rompers in the fall? Insert the chunky, cozy cardigan.
I got this cardi from the #nsale and it’s definitely one of my favorite items. I put it over the romper, added in Tory sandals and it was so comfy and perfect for cooler temps. You could put booties on with this also and make it cute for running errands or even date night.
This romper isn’t available but I pretty much found it’s long lost twin right here. They look identical! I also linked some other rompers that I’m currently loving. And good news! This cardi is fully stocked and comes in two pretty colors.
