DISTRESSED BLACK JEANS – OBSESSED!

And that’s a wrap. Happy Labor Day friends! The official end to my favorite season of the year. Summer went by way too fast but we made it a memorable one. This was the summer that our Summer learned how to swim all on her own. Hopefully we get a few more beach and pool days in during September because we aren’t quite ready to pack away the bathing suits in the House of Leo! What can I say? We are summer people!

It’s funny. Most bloggers are so ready for fall. My news feed is filled with sweaters, booties and scarfs and I’m still over here sporting shorts, sandals and tanks haha. I actually legit get depressed when summer ends. But, yes there’s a but here…I am getting slightly excited to start wearing all my fall clothes and purchases from the #nsale. I also picked up fall soaps and candles from Bath and Body Works this weekend so you can say I’m getting mentally prepared!

I’d figure I would start this Labor Day off with a fall-esque look I wore for date night last week. I forever hated black jeans. Took a good year before I caved and bought a pair. You all know I’m true and loyal to AE jeans but let me tell you Express is giving AE a run for their money. This is the 3rd pair of Express jeans I’ve gotten this summer and I LOVE them. Online they come in lengths so perfect for us petites. A note on that, they DO NOT sell petites in store though so you have to buy those sizes online. You can however return your online purchases in store. These fit like a glove and have the perfect amount of distressing.

I could not wait to wear this jacket. The blush is sold out but I linked the exact one in other color options. I have this in black from last season and love it. BLANKNYC makes the best budget friendly faux leather jackets. And if you haven’t bought this cami yet get it! It’s so soft and looks great layered or alone.

And one of my favorite scarfs that sold out early during the #nsale is back in stock! This is cut into the perfect triangle. It lays so nicely and is reversible so you get two different color/print options. Scoop this up because it’ll definitely sell out fast again!
