Monday! Hope everyone had a great weekend! I have a funny story I’ll share at the end of this post but first let’s hurry and talk about this major sale happening now on so many Free People items that rarely get discounted this early in the season. Most of the items I linked are for Macy’s so shop today because the sale ends tonight!
I love, love, love Free People but hate paying full price because while they have great boho pieces I find most are pricey. So I ran to Macy’s and scooped up a few new pieces. My favorite is this off the shoulder sweater which has more a sweatshirt material. Would look really cute with a lace bralette too.
Comes in a few different colors too. Definitely size down. For size reference I’m wearing an XS.
When shopping this sale from Macy’s make sure to use the code VIP for the extra discount. With the savings this top was reduced from $68.oo to $47.60. Such a good savings!
Here are some other Free People items I either ordered or are in my cart.
And remember this one? It’s reduced now to $33.60. I wear this one constantly and will continue to layer it under cardigans all fall and winter. Such an easy top to wear.
You can see more of it in this post.
Also, my boots are currently on sale at Nordstrom’s. Most sizes in stock and down to $79.90. These are SO good for everyday! One of my fav fall boots I got this year.
As for my story, Friday night my girlfriend and I took our daughters to see a musical at our local theater. I have seen other kid friendly musicals by this production company before so when I saw them selling tickets for “Into the Woods” a show about storybook characters I figured they would love it. Well we get to the theater and I notice there are barely any kids there. Parents don’t take kids out on Friday nights? Red flag #1. Once the show started we were lost within 10 minutes. Aren’t kid shows supposed to be easy to follow? Red flag #2. Then the wolf from Little Red Hiding Hood came out and was dancing and doing hip thrusts at Little Red Hiding Hood. Wasn’t the wolf just a bad wolf? Nope this one was downright naughty. Red flag #3. We quickly realized this was a musical with an adult twist of the girls beloved storybook characters. We loaded the girls up on snacks and left at intermission! The girls didn’t seem to care. If anything they just seemed bored. Meanwhile, my girlfriend and I had a good laugh out of it! Note to parents, read the description of a show before you buy tickets. OOPS! Epic mom fail!
Wishing you a great week. Remember today is the last day for this sale at Macy’s. Use code VIP when you checkout for the extra savings! And free shipping when you spend $99.
See you back here Thursday!
XO!

Girlie you gotta jump on the OTS trend! Once you do there is no going back! Such a fun, wearable trend…go for it!
I love the first off the shoulder sweater, so neutral! And that is the funniest story! When your girls get older they will get a kick out of it!
HA! I know one day they will get a good laugh out of it! Meanwhile we wanted to find the nearest exit and make our escape!
