Hi friends and happy Monday! Today I’m sharing another closet staple, the black leather jacket. You’ve seen this one before on me but in the blush pink. I picked up this black one in a smaller size because I wanted it to be more fitted for wearing over camisoles, tanks and dresses. I’ve said it before but BLANKNYC is my go to brand for faux leather jackets. The faux isn’t that cheap material and they fit so well. Their price point is always really good too.
In the smaller size you can’t wear this one over sweaters but it really completes an outfit and adds a little edge when layered over lighter tops or dresses.
If you are looking for a faux leather that can be worn everyday and in a less fitted way I suggest this one. I have this one too and love styling it over sweaters.
And let’s just talk about this cami. Lace camisoles are all the rage right now. I love them wore alone for date night, under cardigans and perfect under an off the shoulder sweater when the lace peaks out a bit. This one is from Abercrombie and currently on sale.

Did everyone enjoy their weekend? We had so much at the Holmdel Harvest Festival with good friends on Saturday but it was so hot! Something about harvest fests and summer clothes just doesn’t feel right, but we had fun regardless! Saturday night we went to dinner to celebrate one of my best friend’s birthdays. For those in Monmouth County you have to go to 2nd Jetty in Sea Bright. Seriously the BEST FOOD! BYOB, laid back vibe but the food was out of this world!

This one is sooo good Mary! Definitely size up but if you want a more fitted look go with your regular size.
