There comes a point during winter that you just get plain old sick of wearing sweaters. October and November get me so excited that I break out all my favorite sweaters from last year. Then December is when I wear all my new sweaters that I scored during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Then January comes and I’m just sick of them. Love to wear a poncho to just change things up. Not quite a scarf, not quite a sweater. But they are so warm and so versatile. 
Ponchos are perfect for fall and love them in winter over a dress (because we all know styling dresses with coats isn’t always that easy) or for wearing to holiday parties when you don’t want to bring a coat that is just going to get layered under all the other coats in the guest room at the party LOL. For the record I always hang up my guest’s coats but you know what I mean haha.

Style with leggings, over dresses or skinny jeans. Knee high boots or booties they go with so much. Also, I’ve been wearing these boots on repeat. Seriously, they might be the best boots of the season. I wore them all day to work and they are so comfortable. They come in a ton of color options too. If you are contemplating them pull the trigger and get them. They are amazing.
My first gift guide of the season is perfect for what to buy that person on your list that is so hard to buy for. These picks are things you generally don’t get yourself but would make a great little splurge gift. PS…the poncho makes a great gift too!

Erik and I are hosting our annual House of Leo Holiday Party tomorrow night! Think this might be our 7th or 8th year. It’s always the first Saturday after Thanksgiving weekend because it just kicks off the holiday fun. Can’t wait!
