HAPPY NEW YEAR

2018 is here! Happy New Year! I will always remember 2017 as the year I stepped out of my comfort zone, took a leap of faith, threw vulnerability to the wind and launched this blog. I know I sound like a broken record because I’m always thanking you for your continued support but without it I wouldn’t still be here working on this blog and watching it grow into something special. So cheers to this past year and cheers to this year ahead. It’s going to be a good one!

I shot this look with wind chills near 0 degrees! It has been FRIGID out there! I don’t think I ever remember such a stretch of cold weather.

Sherpa is the perfect material for cold weather although nothing can really keep you warm in these artic temps LOL! I got this one over the holidays at Express. I’m thinking by the time you read this it might be sold out as the stock was getting low but I’m linking other cute fluffy type cardigans below.

I mentioned I bought a few velvet camisoles recently and this one from Abercrombie is currently on clearance and comes in a few rich shades. I got this mauve pink and a garnet red. They run big. Definitely size down. I’m in an XS.

Ok so you know my tan Sam Edelman booties I wear constantly? Well they went on sale at Nordstrom and I had to scoop them up in black. When I find shoes that are so comfortable I find it hard not to get multiple colors, and when they go on sale is generally when I make my move! Erik drove me to a mall on Christmas Eve that was a 1/2 hour away to get them so I’d have them for the holidays LOL. He’s so good to me!

Hope you all had a wonderful New Year’s Eve. We hosted our very good friends and their kids. We had a seafood fest and it was so delicious! Hope you all celebrated with loved ones.
