So my days of going to the office and then to happy hour ended back in my 20’s but I thought this would be a fun post to do for those times that maybe you have something fun planned after work. How to dress from day to night doesn’t have to be complicated. No need to pack an outfit to change into. These pieces can all be transitioned from office to bar so easily!
First, wear a blazer or cardigan. LOVE white blazers for the warmer months. Mine is an old closet staple but I’ll link similar ones at the end of the post.
Next wear a tighter top underneath that can add a bit of sexy fun appeal when you ditch the blazer or cardigan. I opted for a velvet bodysuit. This one is currently on sale and I love the trending velvet and soft color for spring.
Keep in mind when wearing bodysuits or tighter tanks to pair them with high waisted jeans. They elongate the body and conceal any skin rolls!
Lastly, finish off with fun accessories. I scooped up this light weight scarf at Express. Perfect flowy material for spring and summer. And these fun earrings from Monday’s post definitely make the look more fun.
As for shoes I’d suggest a heel or wedge. I just got these wedge espadrilles and I can’t even tell you how comfy they are! Not sky high (for my standards) and a great everyday wedge. They have a variety of colors and right now they are fully stocked in all sizes and color options.
Other options for going from day to night:
-A form fitting dress with a jacket worn over
-Faux leather leggings paired with a tunic
-A maxi dress with a blazer or cardi worn over
-Classic black leggings with a flowy top
Ok so what time is happy hour? HAHA!
