Can you even believe we got more snow this week? SO OVER IT! I feel like March is always like this. We get a few random warm days which set us into spring mode and then BAM more cold and snow that just won’t let up. Keeping with spring on the blog though and today I am talking all about gingham print. Such a classic print and definitely a must have style you need to have in your closet. Whether it’s a scarf, button down or wrap top you’ll want at least 1 piece of gingham this season!
This is the last of my Forever 21 finds for awhile. I featured this top but in a pinstripe in this post last week. It’s almost the same style except this one wouldn’t fall off the shoulder like the pinstripe. With the pinstripe one you could have the option of on shoulder or off but the gingham fit tighter around my shoulder area.
Being it’s more fitted on the shoulders and chest you could totally make this top work appropriate. Love the wrap feature and again with the billowy sleeves! For size reference I went up to medium.
I dressed this top down with distressed jeans. These jeans are from last year but the step hem is trending again for another spring/summer season (YAH!) and I linked almost identical ones to these. Love these jeans with flats, sneakers or heels.
While I wore distressed jeans I think gingham prints look great paired with white pants as well. Throw on a camel colored belt and shoes and you got yourself a classic look!
