Happy Monday! Busy, productive weekend. Errands, blog pictures, washed the dogs and dinner at my parents for St. Patrick’s Day. My mom makes corned beef and cabbage every year and it’s soooo good. No one makes it like her! One of my favorite meals of the year. So getting right into it — let’s talk about this lil gem that is trending big time this year — the jumpsuit. We all know that dresses are perfect for special occasions but changing it up with a jumpsuit adds some edge and will keep your look right on trend.
Honestly they couldn’t be any easier to style. Throw on fun earrings, long necklaces, a denim jacket, a vest or moto jacket over and you can totally dress the jumpsuit down or dress it up. It’s all in how you style it. Flats or heels work great with them.
Tons of styles to choose from solids to fun prints. I scooped this jumpsuit up at Old Navy and caught it on sale. Being only 5’2 the culotte style is perfect otherwise I’d find myself most likely having to tailor them. This one also comes in a plus size version. I’ll link them both at the end of the post.
Also trending right now are coin necklaces. They look great worn as a single necklace or layered with others that vary in length. This one came as 2 in a set and you can wear them together or separately. I just checked and it’s sold out but I linked similar options.
I have a ton to finish up today so keeping this post pretty short. I just sent Erik to Toys R Us with Summer. I found one last gift card that needs to get used before they close the doors on TRU. Anyone else find it so sad they are closing their stores? TRU is an icon. Such a shame. Have a feeling they are coming home with a karaoke machine. Lord help me.
