So a ton goes into running a blog. It’s a full time side job for me. I plan content out for the month. We shoot blog photos every weekend. I write posts, edit photos, add links, and a ton of time goes into promoting my blog on social media. The other part is the shopping. A ton of strategy goes into shopping weekly and planning looks that are trending and not sold out for me to shoot in the blog posts. While I love shopping it takes a lot of time and work to plan blog outfits. So when DAILYLOOK reached out to me to review their subscription box service, I was all about it! They would do the styling and shopping for me? YES PLEASE!
DAILYLOOK Box Review: Perfect Services for the Woman on the Go
DAILYLOOK is a subscription box service that has a stylist who will send you on trend clothing items based on your style preferences and body type. You begin with an online style quiz that will help your assigned stylist find out about your lifestyle, budget, likes and dislikes and body type. If you love edgy they will send you edgy pieces. If you are only looking for pieces to wear to the office they will curate a look to match your requests.
Once you have filled out your style quiz your stylist will send you a preview of what is in your DAILYLOOK box. You can modify what was picked for you and leave notes to your stylist to change what you don’t like. Odds are they will get it right the first time around though. The stylists are that good! Once you approve it, the DAILYLOOK box will be sent out to you with up to 12 beautiful items in it.
I honestly must have ran to my doorstep everyday waiting for my DAILYLOOK box to arrive. It was worth the wait ladies. First impressions are everything and DAILYLOOK did not disappoint. They just changed their branding and packaging. The powder blue box with gorgeous black and white ribbon was just the beginning. Such beautiful packaging!
The items they sent me were a mix of everyday, weekend and dressier pieces. What really set DAILYLOOK apart though were the brands. While subscription boxes seem to be jumping up everywhere these days DAILYLOOK is totally different. Their brands are all quality pieces by quality designers. Velvet by Graham & Spencer, Hudson jeans, DL 1961 jeans, and even the coveted Rebecca Minkoff Quilted Crossbody bag were all included in my box. My DAILYLOOK box had a mix of sweaters, denim, dresses, spring tops and accessories.
You have the option of keeping everything (you’ll want to trust me) in your DAILYLOOK box or just keeping the items you love and then sending back the rest. You’ll have 5 days to try your items on a couple times before you have to make that hard decision of what to keep or send back. Hate return shipping like I do? No worries. Shipping is free both ways.
As for what it costs? Your items will all be in the range of $75 to $200. You have a $40 monthly styling fee that is applied towards what you keep. So if you keep something in your DAILYLOOK box the $40 fee is free! You’ll have the option to receive a box monthly, every other month or quarterly and you are free to cancel at anytime.
Being a blogger I take pride in creating outfits myself and shopping for looks I know you’ll love to see so I always steered away from subscription box services for these reasons. Having tried DAILYLOOK though I can honestly say it was a delight to have someone else style me and send me items I never would have thought to try. Not only did I get to try new styles but I was able to try some of the best brands that have been on my radar for so long.
