Happy Monday friends! Hope you all had a wonderful Easter for those that celebrate! So I am obviously pretty petite so the majority of the items I feature on the blog are for the vertically challenged but every so often I stumble upon an item that can suit a variety of body types. With a variety of ways to style it and the oversized fit I can pretty much promise you that this Club Thread top will look good on just about everyone.
I featured this top (search Andi) in my IG try on and FB live last week and I showed you that you can wear this top two different ways. The top is very long and has an oversized, loose fit so it looks adorable belted or tied in the front like I styled here. Tie front tops are huge right now and I love how easily this top ties for an effortless look. Not messy but totally has a relaxed, casual look and feel to it.
You can also wear this top as a dress and add a belt for a more tailored look. Heads up though that the side cuts high so I would keep the belt looser or else your butt cheek is going to show. I actually think you could wear the dress version as a cute cover up over a bathing suit if you are worried about where the side cuts.
Plaid and gingham are huge right now so the print on this is totally on trend. Love that it’s light weight and the material is supposed to have a wrinkly look to it so it won’t require a ton of ironing (I HATE ironing so YAH!).
Can we just stop a minute and talk about these jeans? Raw and step hem jeans started trending last summer and it’s here to stay. These are the perfect length for petites! They are high waisted which I love because it elongates and the hem is raw but not overdone. Definitely my new go to denim. They also come in a non distressed version here and here.
And lastly these earrings are on clearance for $5! Dead serious. I scooped up 2 colors at this price!
For those on spring break this week–enjoy! Summer has school. Pros of being in a kindergarten class at a daycare. Well pro for me, not so much for her haha! That will all change next year when she gets off for every little thing!
