Two days of near 80 degree weather and now it’s back to winter. Don’t think I’ve ever started my day off in a tank top and ended it in a winter coat except if I was flying home from vacation during the winter! That little tease of warm weather though has set me in summer clothes overdrive. I’m so ready for shorts, maxi dresses and tanks everyday. Once spring decides to return I’ll be ready to break out the trending it bag of the season — the straw bag.
I think you all know by now that I love designer bags and 99% of my posts are styled with one. The basis of this blog is all about mixing highs and lows. So while I use a Gucci or Louis Vuitton bag I am most likely wearing a top under $50. When straw bags started making their appearance in blog land this spring I just couldn’t see the point of buying a designer bag made of straw. No matter what it’s not going to last. It’s straw.
I have been on the hunt to find a straw bag that was made well but wouldn’t break the bank. I found 2 different styles on Topshop and couldn’t resist.
While straw bags are huge right now so are circle bags. This crossbody option is small but perfect for going out to dinner. You could fit your phone, lipstick and a small wallet in it. This color sold out quickly but it also comes in black and an embroidered option.
For a larger option I fell in love with this one. Love that you can wear it crossbody or as a top handle. It’s very roomy and will fit all your regular belongings in it. In case it sells out this one from GAP is very similar.

This top from Club Thread is just the cutest ever. Those ruffles! Can you even?! This top is so versatile. Can be worn alone or layered under vests, cardigans and sweaters. It also comes in a light blue. Reminds me of a Free People top at a fraction of the cost. You can buy this top here and just search “Sarah.”
As for my lace leggings, these are a few years old but I found an almost identical pair that got great reviews.
