TRENDING: OVERALLS

You probably had a pair as a little kid. Then you may have sported a pair in your teens. But other than seeing them styled for farm settings I really feel like overalls, although an American classic, have kind of been in the dark for awhile. Until now. Overalls are trending BIG time right now and I’m not mad about it one bit. 

There isn’t much else that is so cute, so classic and so easily styled more than a good pair of overalls. Full length jogger styles are huge right now as are the shorts version perfect for summer.

For a moment I didn’t know if I looked too old to wear them but who am I kidding? You are never too old for overalls. The American classic can be styled endless ways. Dress them up with wedges. Dress them down with sneakers or flip flops and in the fall throw on a cardigan and wear them with booties.

Mine are from Blank NYC and fit perfectly. Not too short and such a steal. Mine are currently on sale for only $57.20!  The reviews mostly sided with sizing down but I went with a 26 because I wanted mine looser and relaxed. Great wash and easy on the wallet.

I didn’t get a close up of these wedges but OMG obsessed! So comfortable, have the cutest scallop detail and come in a couple colors. Mine are in the white which is like a white gray. I’ll have them styled in another post at the end of the week but if you are looking for new espadrille wedges that are comfy these are the ones! They run true to size and right now they are pretty well stocked,but I have a feeling they won’t be for long.

So we had a crazy weekend. Summer came home sick the day before her graduation. We were so scared she wouldn’t be in her ceremony. We got her fever to break and she woke up graduation day good to go! Had a little family BBQ afterwards and she was fine, but at bedtime her fever spiked again and I ended up bringing her to urgent care. She got on antibiotics and was good as new by Saturday afternoon! We got pool time in and spent Father’s Day at the beach with family. Ended up being such a great weekend!
