Hey ladies! Had the most amazing weekend! Back to back beach days and date night with our good friends made for a classic summer weekend! Officially packed away the self tanner and I’m now sporting a tan with a touch of sunburn haha! Haven’t done a post featuring a “dressy” dress in awhile so thought this would be something different. What to wear to a summer wedding can be so simple. My go to are always dresses that are light, flowy materials, and bright colors. Looks good with a tan and let’s be honest — we don’t want to be sweating at those summer events.
Dying over this gorgeous dress! I had worn a romper maxi dress to Erik’s work Christmas party and ever since I have come to love them more than a traditional maxi dress. The shorts underneath just add a fun element but at the same time keeps you feeling much cooler than when you wear a regular maxi dress.
The palm print screams summer and the soft coral color will look good on any skin tone. And for only $49 how could you go wrong?! The perfect summer wedding dress that is also easy on the wallet but truly makes a statement.
You can easily wear this dress to a shower or dinner out as well. Just add espadrille wedges to dress it down.
This dress is from Red Dress Boutique who I have been following ever since seeing them on Shark Tank years ago. What started as a small brick and mortar shop has grown into a mega online boutique with a huge, loyal following. It’s no wonder they grew so big. They have everything you can think of from formal dresses, casual dresses, tops, pants, shoes, accessories. You name it fashion wise and they carry it. Best part is how budget friendly but well made all their pieces are.
Red Dress Boutique recently reached out to me to see if I wanted to feature some of their pieces and obviously I was so excited because I’ve been a fan for so long. I’m trying to find new brands and stores to introduce to you all that I have not yet featured so this was one I was absolutely psyched to bring onto HOLB. I picked out a few pieces that are all so different so that you could see the variety of items they have. I’m going to go with a Red Dress Boutique theme this week and I’ll be showing you all the different looks I got. And in case you can’t wait be sure to check out my IG stories or FB live to see all the pieces before they hit the blog!
