Well we are home! Had the BEST time and will do a full trip recap soon! I shot a bunch of looks while we were there and all the outfits you’ll be seeing on the blog from Mexico are great options for holiday parties. This embroidered skirt that I wore in Cancun Mexico is honestly a showstopper!
A few of my favorite elements came together when this skirt was created. Tulle, florals, embroidery, and an elastic waist.
The detail on this embroidered skirt is on another level. The photos honestly do not do it justice. Anything with tulle just automatically adds a feminine flair. It’s not itchy or stiff at all. The tulle just makes the skirt belle out so sweetly but not too much where you feel like a ballerina. Just so classic!
And this embroidered detail is the prettiest I’ve ever seen. Delicate flowers just pop so lightly.
As for how to wear this embroidered skirt? You can easily wear this skirt year round. I made it more casual with a tied t-shirt but this skirt would be beautiful for the holidays with a bodysuit, an ivory sweater or a button down tucked in or front tied.

I have so much unpacking to do so keeping this short and sweet today. For those wondering, Summer did absolutely amazing on the plane. She did get sick on the plane coming home. We hit some turbulence but she had zero fear and enjoyed the sun and spoiling that went on all week!
