A weekend of wintery weather ahead of us and freezing temps! Staying warm in the coziest sweater turtleneck from Chicwish. The stripes and turtleneck style are so good one this sweater and today I am giving you 3 ways to style a striped turtleneck.

KEEP IT SIMPLE
Everyone has at least 1 striped clothing item in their closet, right? Such a classic print that will never go out of style. When styling a striped turtleneck let the stripes be the focus of your outfit. Keep all other elements simple. No other prints mixed in and whatever color is in your sweater keep your shoes in the same color palette. This will make the stripes really stand out while keeping your outfit simple and subdued.

LAYER YOUR LOOK
Opposite of my above advice use the striped turtleneck as a base to build on. In order to not overpower the look keep the layers solid. Think moto jackets, denim jackets and chunky scarves. Your stripes will still pop but you’ll add some dimension to your look.

WEAR BOLD PIECES TO AMPLIFY YOUR LOOK
So I don’t always pattern mix but when I do I love how it looks. If you are going to mix other patterns in with a striped turtleneck just stay within the same color family. While I paired this sweater with solid booties you could totally pattern mix with leopard heels or boots. For another pattern mixing look see this post.

And those are my 3 top tips for how to wear a striped turtleneck. Stripes can serve as a blank canvas — keep them simple, layer them up or add other fun prints to really make your look pop!

I highly recommend this striped turtleneck. While the neck is super chunky it’s the comfiest ever. One of those you want to stay in all day because of how warm and cozy it is. And tan and black always look so so good together.
