For those of us that live in Monmouth County we are pretty lucky. We have some of the prettiest beaches, farm areas, and the best stores to shop at. One of my absolute favorite places to shop is at The Grove in Shrewsbury. Summer and I recently went and picked out a bunch of great gift ideas all available at The Grove for Mother’s Day!
So a little background about The Grove at Shrewsbury if you haven’t shopped here before. Located at 597 Broad Street in Shrewsbury, NJ, right on the border of Red Bank and Little Silver, it’s a beautiful outdoor shopping center with some of the best stores for home, fashion, beauty, accessories and cute little eateries.
The landscaping is always impeccable and the shopping center just has that light and airy feel to it. If you have been following HOLB awhile you have definitely seen tons of photos shot here. It’s just the most beautiful shopping center in the area.
Summer and I chose 4 stores at The Grove to give you some gift ideas for Mother’s Day. All very different but each store is bound to help you find some personal gifts!
BLUEMERCURY
It’s nothing new around here that I love me some Bluemercury. They have the best brands in luxury beauty, amazing makeup artists and they just remodeled the store so it’s even more beautiful than it was before!

COACH
My first designer bag was a Coach bag and the first bag Erik ever bought me was a Coach crossbody bag. I still have that bag! Coach has always been a great brand for high quality bags, shoes and accessories.
Summer and I had a blast shopping here. They have mommy and me style bags that we both fell in love with. Moms of girls — tell the hubbies! You and your mini need these bags! Love all the floral prints on their latest bags too.
The staff at Coach were so sweet to give me one of their newest perfumes and they made me a tag with HOLB printed on it as a keepsake. What a nice keepsake to add to a gift. Love the perfume idea as a gift and all their makeup bags too. You don’t have to spend a fortune here. They have tons of gift ideas that are price friendly!
ANTHROPOLOGIE
Ok who doesn’t love going to Anthropologie? I can wander around that store for hours. From all their great clothes to accessories to their home section — they literally have something for everyone. Definitely one of my favorite stores in The Grove.
I was drawn to their home section for all the cute whimsical items they carry. Of course Summer immediately spotted this dish towel with a bunny on it and yelled out, “SNOWBALL!” Pair a cute dishtowel with a coffee mug and you have the perfect gift!
Anthropologie also has some of the BEST candles! The jars are stunning and they have the most beautiful scents.
Another thing I fell in love with — their faux flowers. These are no faux flowers you’ll find in a craft store. These flowers were stunning. Add an assortment of blooms to a pretty vintage vase and this makes a gift that Mom will enjoy all year long!
J.JILL
No shopping trip at The Grove is complete without a little fashion. There are quite a few fashion retailers in The Grove but I love J.Jill for their classic styles. J.Jill prides themselves on being experts in both fit and fashion. They offer petites, missy, women’s and tall sizes. Their pieces are great for any type of Mom. The office mom, stay at mom or sporty mom — there is something for everyone here.
I was drawn to their spring and summer tops and accessories. Every mom enjoys something new to wear on Mother’s Day. Add a pretty scarf to go with it and you’re done! For Mother’s Day J.Jill is offering 30% your entire purchase from 5/6/19-5/12/19. Some exclusions apply.

And this is another reason I love The Grove. They always have fun events for shoppers to take part in. Hope you enjoyed this little shopping trip with me and my Sumi girl and got some Mother’s Day gift inspo! After that puppy dog face above of course I rewarded her with a cake pop from Starbucks! Sitting outside with shopping bags, going through what we bought and sharing some treats — isn’t that what a girl’s day is all about?
