OUTFIT 1 – FLORAL MAXI DRESS

I didn’t expect to love this dress as much as I do. There’s something just so easy about this one and that neutral palette is so sweet.

Midi dresses are great, especially on petites. Your summer outfits should always include a maxi or midi dress. I went over this in my Summer Capsule blog post. It’s always a gamble for us shorties to buy a full length maxi dress. Most are too long but the midi dress is always a win win because it’ll look longer on us but won’t hit the ground.

This dress doesn’t have adjustable straps but you can just wear a strapless bra or cami style bra with it. Also comes in a saddle brown color.

OUTFIT 2 – CLASSIC TANK DRESS

OK this is the steal of everything I will be showing you. You all know I LOVE mixing in a good maxi dress into my summer outfits.

The length is a tad longer on this one but honestly the tied bottom really makes such a statement and makes it much more wearable for us petites. But if you were blessed with height wear it long because it lays perfectly. Two side slits make this one so easy to walk in.

I have to mention that the material on this is so good. It’s a cotton but has almost a silky feel to it. It’s VERY forgiving and not clingy whatsoever. And love that pocket detail and racerback style.

OUTFIT 3 – OFF THE SHOULDER TOP

Another top that I didn’t think I was going to love as much as I do. OBSESSED with the simple but sweet detail on this top! One of the most comfortable OTS tops I’ve ever gotten. It doesn’t dig into your chest or arms at all and has the softest cotton almost gauze like material to it.

I sized up to a medium in this top for a slightly looser fit and I’m so glad I did. Just love everything about this top!

OUTFIT 4 – RUCHED MINI SKIRT

I featured almost this same skirt in yellow florals on my IG and also in my last Instagram Roundup here. Easy little skirts like these make summer outfits so easy to style.

When you don’t want shorts and you don’t want a dress then reach for this sweet little mini skirt. This outfit would be cute with shorts but how much more fun is it with the skirt?

So the yellow skirt I got I had gotten a small. It fit ok but I kinda wanted this one a little bigger so I went with a medium in this skirt. Length is the same but just a bit more room in the waist. It has a working drawstring so you can tie as tight or as loose as you want!

OUTFIT 5 – CLASSIC LWD (little white dress)

OOPS I lied. I had 5 summer outfits. This sweet little dress got left behind on my bed when we went to shoot so you just get a selfie of this one which is a shame because this LWD really deserved some better photos!

Side zip detail, pockets and a nice thick almost linen material. The bottom 1/2 is lined so it’s not see through at all.

Ok so that’s it! So much cute stuff right? Off to see David Gray in concert tonight with my mama. 4th time we are seeing him and 2nd time he’s come to Red Bank. I’m a big music lover but David is my all time fav! Then this weekend we have the Denim Days Festival! So much to look forward to!
