FACE FILTER BLURRING & MOISTURIZING PRIMER
For a company that is focused on skincare that includes serums, moisturizers, washes, masks and more I was CRAZY excited to see they launched a makeup primer. That’s right. The first of the 2 new products from Tula is a makeup product! First off primers make ALL the difference in your makeup routine. Your foundation goes on and holds better and your makeup will wear better throughout the day. Makeup without primer has always been a big no no in my book. Would you bake chicken without seasoning? No right? Well you can’t wear foundation without primer.
What I love about TULA’s new primer is that it helps to reduce redness immediately and over time. It smooths skin tone which is what will make your foundation look so much better and it’ll lock in hydration which for me is a huge draw. Having notoriously dry skin TULA products have been a godsend for keeping my skin hydrated.
But probably my favorite feature to to the Face Filter Blurring and Moisturizing Primer is that it releases glow particles as you blend it into your skin leaving you with the most radiant glow. Honestly you could just use this after your daily skincare routine and be on your way and your makeup free look will still have that photo finish to it.
TULA products are always inclusive of probiotics which help balance the skin and lock in hydration but this primer also has chia seeds, tumeric and licorice that all work together to decrease redness and increase luminosity.
WHEN TO USE:
I use this primer after my daily skincare routine which includes the Face Purifying Cleanser, Illuminating Serum and the Aqua Infusion Gel Cream. See this post for a full review of all those items.
SO POLISHED EXFOLIATING SUGAR SCRUB
If you watch my IG stories then I’m sure you have seen me test out quite a few of TULA’S masks. I’ve always been a big advocate of incorporating masks and skin treatments into your skincare at least once a week.
The second of the 2 new products from TULA is a sugar scrub that will leave your skin so soft and make you feel like you are island bound.
I love sugar scrubs because sugar is a natural exfoliant that dissolves in water making it super gentle on your skin. The So Polished Exfoliating Sugar Scrub contains papaya and pineapple that has enzymes to help exfoliate. After just 1 use I noticed brighter and smoother skin.
For the longest time I shied away from exfoliating treatments because I thought they were too hard on my sensitive skin, but this mask especially has been so gentle on my skin and does a great job at cleaning out my pores. I also love the So Polished Scrub for how quick and effective it is. 30-60 seconds of scrubbing is all that is required!
WHEN TO USE:
I use the So Polished scrub after I’ve cleansed my face for the night. I remove my makeup with the Kefir Cleansing Oil, followed by the Face Purifying Cleanser and then the So Polished Scrub. Finish your skincare regimen with the Illuminating Serum, Day and Night Cream and Revitalizng Eye Cream.
