I’m always on the hunt for new brands and boutiques to introduce to you all. You know HOLB is all about mixing highs and lows so I go to great lengths to give you a healthy dose of budget friendly pieces and higher quality pieces to mix into your wardrobe. I recently found 3 gorgeous pieces from Paulita Carlotta that I’m absolutely head over heels for.
I discovered Paulita Carlotta when I attended the Denim Days Festival in NYC a few weeks ago. This boutique was front and center when I walked in and her beautiful pieces immediately caught my eye.
So often I’m fielded with requests to feature clothes for women older than me but it’s tough. I’m trying to wear clothes that fit my style and my audience is primarily women my age or a bit younger. However, the pieces from Paulita Carlotta are appropriate for all ages in my opinion.
Her pieces are all high quality, unique items that you won’t find anywhere else. Many are hand made and all are made from the highest quality. The fabrics are amazing on everything.
This embroidered tunic has got to be one of the most beautiful pieces I’ve ever added to my closet. Honestly. The fabric is a linen material but super thick. It’s double layered so not sheer or see through whatsoever.
The colors are so vibrant on this tunic and I love that you can style this 2 ways. Cute worn with shorts or jeans but also a classic coverup option.
Ok so this is the item that drew me into Paulita Carlotta’s boutique when I was at Denim Days. You all know I’m a sucker for denim jackets and this one is a total attention getter. I mean this baby literally pulled me in!
Pearls and denim? YES PLEASE! What I love about this jacket is the quality. The pearls will not fall off and the denim is roomy enough for layering but not boxy at all.
I rolled the sleeves but the pearls are all around the wrists as well. This one really is a showstopper.
Last up is this 100% silk hand tie tyed cold shoulder top. First off the colors in it are just so soft and pretty with a touch of hand beading on the straps.
Silk tops are usually super sheer but this one is fully lined with a thicker ombre layer underneath. Such a pretty top front tucked, tied up or worn long.
See what I mean? Paulita Carlotta has unique pieces with topnotch quality. That’s what I love about finding new boutiques. You can find pieces you won’t see anywhere else and you know they aren’t mass produced so the quality is unmatched to other brands.
