2019 NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE FIRST DAY TRY ON

I’m wiped you guys! I put my order in early and had some issues with fulfillment so by the time I got to the store a lot was unavailable but no worries! I still got a ton of great pieces for my 2019 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale first day try on.

I will say the booties this year are all SO GOOD! I picked up 3 today and they are crazy comfy and super practical for everyday. I have about 5 outfits to show you for my first day try on and have more items set to arrive this coming Tuesday so stay tuned for a second try on early next week.

OUTFIT 1

The softest plaid top ever! This is such a classic NSale look in my opinion. I always grab at least 1 plaid top on the first day of the sale and this one is a winner.

Frame jeans | Wearing 25 | Sale price $139.90 After sale $210

Designer jeans are always a big draw during the NSale. Last year I tried AG but they didn’t fit me right. This year I opted to try Frame and you guys — LOVE them! They fit like a glove, high waisted and super soft denim. Tall girls these will great on you as you won’t need to cuff.

Obsessed with these booties! I was surprised to see how slouchy the suede is on these which I love. The suede is not stiff whatsoever. Great everyday bootie for fall!

Need a fall jacket? This is the ONE to get! First day favorite right here. I am wearing a small but did order an XS to see if I should size down. If you are on the fence I do think you could go with your regular size.

BP Stripe V-neck tee | Wearing small | Sale price $11.90 After sale $15

My first day Nsale purchases always have at least a tee or 2 mixed in. The BP tees are always budget friendly and can be worn with everything. They were a bit shorter this year but still long enough if you want to tie it. Come in stripes and also solids which I’ll show later in this post.

Blondo Nina Bootie | Run TTS | Sale price $99.90 After sale $149.95

My main reason for getting these booties is that they are waterproof! Not often that you can find suede booties that won’t get stained from the rain and snow. Love the comfy block heel, braided detail and round toe on these. Top pick!

Topshop Long Cardigan | Wearing XS | Sale price $44.90 After sale $68

Another first day favorite! I wasn’t expecting to love this cardi as much as I do. I thought it was going to be boxy but not at all. The side slits gave such a nice fit and the material is super soft. Definitely size down in this one.

Madewell jeans | Wearing 25 | Sale price $89.99

Ok so I had ordered this same exact pair of jeans in dark denim but they were no longer available in my size. However, this wash isn’t part of the sale BUT they are the same sale price as the NSale ones so win win! I actually prefer the light denim anyway. Fit high waisted and have a raw hem.

Sam Edelman Welles bootie | Run TTS | Sale price $99.90 After sale 159.95

Since I missed out on the Vince Camuto boots I wanted I opted for these instead and zero regrets. Another first day favorite pair of booties!

Free People Citrine Top | Wearing small | Sale price $44.90 After sale $68

Free People under $45?! Yes please. Last year I got a similar top from FP but honestly did not love the fit as much. This one fits more flowy and looser in the arms making it so much more comfortable. Reviews said to size down but I differ. I say go with your regular size for a looser fit especially in the arms. This one is selling out FAST. Heads up!
