I got a lot of clothes to kickoff fall and there have been many favorites just waiting to be worn BUT this cardigan ladies — I’m not even kidding when I say it’s going to be MY fav cardigan of the season. Moms at pickup — get ready to see this one worn on repeat. A great cardigan should be able to be worn several ways and today I’m showing you my must have fall cardigan styled 2 ways.
SHOP MY LOOK:
OPTION 1: GO CLASSIC WITH BOOTS
The obvious way to style any sweater or cardigan is with boots. Knee high or ankle boots look adorable with this fall cardigan.
But let’s talk about what makes this fall cardigan so good. It just lays so nicely. You know sometimes the front can drape funny when you have that open front? Not the case with this one at all. It waterfalls open just perfectly.
The length is also perfect. Long enough for leggings but not overly bulky. When I debuted this cardigan in this post I told you I thought it was a jacket when I bought it but turns out it’s a cardigan which is even better. You can dress it up and wear to the office but it’s casual enough that you can dress it down.
It has faux pockets and a soft almost tweed like material. This fall cardigan also comes in a couple gorgeous color options. Plus use code LABOR19 for 40% off making this cardigan under $39.
To make it work friendly just add a camisole under like I did here and pair with slacks or faux leather leggings.
OPTION 2: DRESS IT DOWN WITH KICKS
Thank goodness for all the fun sneakers trends happening because this mama loves to wear a cute fashion sneaker.
Adding just a fun statement sneaker with this fall cardigan totally changes up the look. Pretty much everything else is the same but that one element makes such a difference.
You can easily make this cardigan that go to errand running weekend essential when you add sneakers.
I’m telling ya — this is 1 piece to get this fall! You’ll get so much use out it. I want all the colors now! And for more great fall pieces from Goodnight Macaroon on sale see this post!
