The start of September is always so crazy. Summer goes back to school and then NYFW starts. While I didn’t attend much this year as far as events go I still wanted to share what I wore for NYFW 2019. I went to 2 amazing events which I’ll recap below.
SHOP MY LOOKS:
To be honest I don’t get too into the whole NYFW circuit. I went last year to a few events. You can read more about that in this post. But honestly, I just like to go to events for brands that I work with. Showing support for the brands that believe in me and to network with new and old campaign managers.
Maybe if I was younger or if I had a group of girls and was staying in the city I might be more likely to attend shows and visit more showrooms. Being just a short ride outside of the city makes it easy for me to just pop into the events I want to attend. Regardless I think as an influencer living close to NYC it’s important to take part in NYFW in some sense. Plus it’s always fun to meet up with blogger friends and get some girl time in!
This year I went to the Evereve event at the 7 for all Mankind showroom. You all know how much I love to style Evereve around here and to finally meet the Evereve team in person was amazing. This brand especially has been so good to me over the past year and a half. I just love everything they represent, how they treat their influencers and how they empower women to feel good. It’s always an honor to work with them.
The event was amazing. We were gifted a pair of 7 for all Mankind jeans and then were able to get them embellished by an artist. I chose these jeans and had HOLB embellished on the pocket.
I wanted to stay true to Evereve style and feel comfortable yet bold so I chose this Sanctuary skirt. I styled it more casually in this blog post and that’s why I LOVE this skirt. SO easy to dress up or down. Sneakers, heels, boots — anything goes with it.
Graphic and band tees were all over the NYFW 2019 scene this year. I paired the skirt with this Rolling Stones tee and tied it up in the back. Kinda made it look like a tee over a dress, right?

The other NYFW 2019 event I attended was for Tula. You all know Tula has been my go to skincare line for well over a year now. Tula has been launching so many great new products over the past year and the party was for the launch of their newest product the Rose Glow Eye Balm. Also see this post for some of their other latest new releases. Use code HOUSEOFLEO to save 20% at Tula!
So that was it for NYFW 2019 for me. Simple and quick city visits but 2 great events with 2 brands that are very near and dear to my heart. I remember years ago dreaming about NYFW and wondering what it would be like to attend. I’m fortunate for the opportunities I’ve been given because of HOLB and all my hard work that I put into it. Will I attend more events in the future? Maybe. But right now this was fulfilling enough. I got my dose of NYFW in, got to network and mingle and got to wear some great fashion! Till next year!
