WINTER MUST HAVES FROM TALBOTS

When I think of winter essentials they are often pieces that will not only endure cold temps but pieces that are luxe, really good quality (because baby it’s cold outside) and pieces that can be worn to the office, holiday parties, and beyond. My winter must haves from Talbots check off all these boxes.

SHOP MY LOOKS:

I remember my Mom always shopping at Talbots. With their attention to detail, ever so classic pieces and super high quality garments it’s no wonder why she loved Talbots so much.

Last year and again this year I had the pleasure to attend the Talbots Holiday kickoff campaign at their flagship store on Madison Ave in NYC. I actually had a few friends surprised that I was going as they said their Grandmothers only shopped at Talbots.

Well listen up friends — either your Grandmoms have really good style or you are underestimating the amazing fashion from Talbots and are severely missing out.

Sure there are pieces that might be more for the “mature” woman but I actually found myself drawn to all the classic plaids and mixing them in with younger pieces. That’s the thing about fashion. Don’t EVER rule a store out because you think it’s not age appropriate or it’s not your style. I can find things I love for my age at Forever 21 just as I can at Talbots.

High on my priority list for winter must haves from Talbots is one of their winter coats. Goodness. Their coats are some of the most gorgeous coats I’ve ever seen. I remember at last year’s Talbots party seeing some of the other girls style their coats and I was in love.

When I saw this faux fur coat at the event I had to have it immediately. Not even exaggerating when I say this is one of the most gorgeous coats I have ever worn. Super soft, luxe faux fur and the collar stays up and adds so much extra! These pictures just don’t do it justice. This is one of those coats you will have for years!

Another one of my winter must haves from Talbots are their blazers. Ladies — I have been on the hunt for the perfect velvet blazer since last year! The tailoring and fit on this one is perfection. Being petite I didn’t even have to have it tailored. You can wear this blazer to work, to a party, or casually on the weekends. Just endless ways to style it and yet another classic piece I’ll have for a long time.

And the ever so trending buffalo plaid. Of course I had to feature it. This shirt is another versatile one. It’s tunic length which makes it legging friendly but also tailored where you can tuck it in and it won’t bunch up. Heads up the description calls it flannel but it’s really more just a regular shirt material.

The last of my winter must haves from Talbots is of course my hat! I am going to let you in on a little secret. Talbots has some of the BEST cold weather accessories. Hats, gloves, scarves and slippers — love their selection and all make great stocking stuffers! This hat by the way — perfect for those who don’t love a heavier, thicker hat.

So what did I tell you? Talbots has something for everyone and if your Grandmom or Mother are shopping at Talbots then I suggest you join them. Gorgeous, classic and ultra feminine pieces that will last and last!
