OK so let me start with this post won’t be for everyone. I think everyone has mixed feelings on designer dupes myself included. Personally I like to mix in some “dupes” into my wardrobe that are mostly small accessories. From previous Amazon hauls you have seen me do this. So today I thought I would share 10 designer inspired pieces. Some of these will make great stocking stuffers too!
SHOP MY LOOK:
All the pieces I am showing you today are dupes, but I like to call them designer inspired pieces as they look similar to other designer pieces BUT they are not being sold as one. These are not knockoffs. A knockoff, for example, is a Louis Vuitton bag being labeled as a Louis Vuitton bag but being sold for much less. A dupe would be Chanel earrings that look similar but the label/brand has no association with the actual brand. The label may say C stud earrings.
Personally, the handbags you see me carry are always designer. I don’t buy replica handbags but many times I will buy certain bags secondhand. I still have bags I’ve been using from 10 years ago so for me they are worth the investment. But for shoes, some jewelry, belts and scarves I will always add in designer inspired pieces as these generally don’t stay in style as long and are items I like to change seasonally. A handbag? I’ll use that all 4 seasons, year after year. A scarf? That I’ll use a season or two and then pass on.

2 | GOLDEN GOOSE INSPIRED SNEAKERS
So one of the biggest trends this year are Golden Goose sneakers. Have I added them to my cart? You bet! Have I pulled the trigger to buy? No way! A pair of sneakers (yes sneakers) that are $500 and up? I just can’t do it. But the ones you see me wear all the time are a great dupe!

No matter what you feel about designer inspired pieces is totally fine. I don’t judge anyone for what they use. If you have the real thing, great! If you use designer inspired, great! I’m not saying go out and buy exact replicas and play it off that it’s real when it’s not. But use what makes you happy and fits into your budget and style. You know the basis of HOLB has always been mixing highs and lows and these are some great ways to achieve that.
