SPRING STAPLE: A SPRING CARDI
I’ve been getting messages asking what some of my absolute spring must haves are. I get it. We can’t splurge on everything. So these will be items you will wear over and over all season long. A spring cardi is always one of my favorite spring staples.
This one is super lightweight and adorable with shorts, leggings, jeans. Just one of those cardigans you’ll easily grab for over and over.
SPRING STAPLE: DENIM SHORTS
Of course you need at least 1 pair of denim shorts in your spring and summer rotation. These are super affordable and mom shorts style. Only $45 and limited stock. Also see this post for my favorite premium mom shorts.
SPRING STAPLE: T-SHIRT DRESS
Another one of my spring staples is the classic t-shirt dress. I styled another one of these last week in this post.
Even if we are stuck at home there is no reason we can’t throw on a dress. And the t-shirt dress is the perfect at home comfy dress. If venturing out just throw on a denim jacket or tie a chambray around the waist. Seems to be my go to look this spring.
This dress is a steal for $41. Super soft and the perfect length for wearing with wedges, sneakers or flats. And side note — this is the $18 hat from my April Amazon haul. Tons of colors available and looks cute with literally everything!
SPRING STAPLE: A SIMPLE SKIRT
My next spring staple is a simple skirt. Honestly these are staples for all 4 seasons of the year because they are such a versatile piece to style.
How cute is this one paired with a bodysuit? You can wear this outfit literally anywhere.
Toss on a denim jacket for spring and add a moto jacket and booties for the fall and winter.
I sized up to a medium because you know being 40 and all — I don’t need skirts being too short. Waist fits perfect and it def added some length. Only $38!
SPRING STAPLE: A MAXI DRESS
And you all probably guessed that the maxi dress would be another one of my spring staples. Wear them with wedges or flats, dressed up or worn over bathing suits. This one is super oversized making it a great one to tie up on the bottom. And not sure you can see but the neckline is trimmed in a pop of neon.
Hopefully these 5 spring staples made shopping a bit easier for you. You don’t need a ton of clothes to start a season. Staples will go far when you think out of the box on how to style them.
