So we are just about a month into being home full time. A month of navigating virtual classrooms. A month of attending Zoom meetings for those who moved from office to the house. I’ve touched on some outfits you can wear at home and feel comfortable but put together. BUT today I’m sharing some work from home looks with Express that can be mixed and matched to create several looks using around 5 core pieces.

We are all probably opting for leggings more than anything these days. Express leggings have always been some of my favorites. Not even kidding when I tell you I still have some from them that are a good 10 years old!
These have cute ribbed pockets in the front and a matching ribbed ankle detail. Love the soft pink for spring and the super stretchy material. I almost always wear an XS in their leggings as I find they run a tad big.
An easy way to make the leggings an easy work from home look is to just wear a tee and tie a boyfriend button down around your waist. Toss on for the meeting and wrap around once the meeting is over! Wearing a medium in the tee.
And for those days that you want to get out and walk the dog but still look presentable just pair a good pair of straight legged denim, cami and same boyfriend button down shown above!
So many favs in this work from home look. The downtown cami is an absolute must and one I’ve had in my closet for a good 2 years. I can’t tell you how many times I reach for it.
And a good white button down can go so far. See how many ways you can style 1 top and 1 cami to create so many looks? I sized down in the boyfriend shirt to an XS but if you want a more traditional boyfriend shirt look then just go with your regular size.
As for the denim, you all know how much I love Express denim. Petite and lengths to choose from which is always a bonus and so many styles! Love the distressing and straight leg style on this pair. Also see them styled in this blog post.
And one other way to elevate your work from home looks is to get creative with some simple accessories. Scarves, headbands and barrettes all make great options. These barrettes come in a 4 pack and I’ve been wearing them constantly.
