Apparently we are skipping fall and going smack into winter in NJ this week. Wind chills in the 30s out here. Definitely need all the layers these next few days. Let’s talk coats today. I have 2 neutral coats under $100 that I recently got and HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The one especially deserved a blog post all of it’s own because it’s that good!

You probably all know this coat by now as I showed you a sneak peak of it in this blog post. But let’s really dive into what makes it one of the best neutral coats under $100!
The coatigan, sweater coat, whatever you want to call it is all the rage this season. I wanted the J.Crew version SO BADLY but when I spotted this one on sale for under $50 it was a no brainer. I had to give it a try. And friends — it was a homerun! I don’t have the J.Crew one to compare it to but quality wise it’s amazing and honestly it looks just like the J.Crew one to me. Once I got this coat I no longer was obsessing over my strong desire for the J.Crew version.
You can style this with boots, flats, sneakers with band tees. Anything goes. It’s a great classic basic that will elevate what you layer underneath. As of post time there are only 6 left of this coat so I would run, run, run if you want to snag it. I promise you will love it! One of the best pieces I got all fall!
And here is another one of my favorite neutral coats under $100. This one just came in over the weekend and I couldn’t wait to wear it!
Love a classic wrap style coat. This one is a wool blend and looks great wrapped or even worn open like the other coat I showed you.
I will say that while it’s a wool blend it’s definitely a lighter coat. Better for fall or completing a winter outfit. It’s not that heavy but still — it’s one of those classic coats you’ll get years of use out of. I am wearing the ivory but it also comes in a taupy tan.
