Talk about a shift in work. I’ve been doing monthly Amazon hauls for almost 3 or 4 years now. They’ve always been a favorite post to do as who doesn’t love Amazon? Now that I’m doing Amazon Lives I have so many more Amazon finds than I can share in 1 blog post. I’ll still do a monthly haul (see my last one here) but I’m also bringing you my Amazon top sellers of September as well as answering some Amazon Live FAQs to give some more clarity on what I’m doing in case you missed where I talked about it a few weeks ago.
WHAT IS AMAZON LIVE?
Well easiest way to describe it? It’s just like QVC. I go live on Amazon’s site at a set time and I share approximately 20 items in about an hour. It’s very interactive which I love. Being I’m live you can type in the chat box and we kinda get to shop together. It’s kinda become a big hangout which is such a fun change from pre-recording stories. Erik runs the computer and my mom often sits in with me. I often have promo codes exclusive to those streams. Additionally, every couple episodes I do fun giveaways for those tuning in live.
WHEN DO I GO LIVE?
Now that I got promoted to A List Amazon Live (big YAY!) I’m trying to go live twice a week.
***Sunday’s 8pm EST and Wednesday’s 8pm EST***
Granted those may change some weeks but that is the main schedule. I always leave the link to tune in in my stories and on my FB page about a 1/2 hour before I go live. Bookmark this page to see all my past livestreams. You can also follow my Amazon storefront here. Just turn on the notifications on your phone to get alerted when I go live.

HOW TO SHOP MY AMAZON PRODUCTS?
Going forward I am going to link any Amazon products I talk about in a blog post right to the live video where I talked about the product. WHY I DOVE INTO AMAZON LIVE?
Well for one the business of influencer marketing is forever changing. Going into my 5th year of this career and things are starting to change faster than ever before. The field is more saturated now and platforms are expanding, evolving and the way people shop is changing. Things are also shifting to video and away from photos which has been tough for me. I’m not on TikTok. I’m not making IG Reels. The forecast says livestreaming is going to be the big boom in 2022 and will be a big way that people begin to shop.
When Amazon presented me with the opportunity to join Amazon Live I jumped at the opportunity. Yes, I was hesitant at first as it was out of my comfort zone and to be honest it meant more work when I’m already stretched pretty thin. I run every facet of HOLB pretty much by myself. BUT I also knew this opportunity would be a great way for me to expand what I do with House of Leo Blog. Since the day I launched HOLB I’ve learned to not let fear hold you back. Success only happens when you dive in and work hard.
Just like anything I do with HOLB nothing is easy or simple. Every episode takes me hours to prep. I pour a ton of time into every single one just as I have done with every endeavor I’ve ever taken on with HOLB. The support you all have given me since starting Amazon Live this past summer is truly appreciated. My hard work to improve every episode and your support helped get me off to a great start with livestreaming. And you know what? I LOVE IT! I was scared at first but honestly it comes so natural to me. Plus engaging live with all of you is truly what makes it so fun!
