Talk about a busy week. I literally can’t keep up with work, back to back weekends of dance competitions and we have a wedding this weekend. Crazy busy! Feel like I have been neglecting my little blog here but bringing some life back into it with April styles from Express. Some new denim and cute spring tops coming your way today. I have 2 completely different styles of denim to show you. I styled this pair in a reel last week and wore them for date night. Cute boyfriend fit and nice relaxed fit. These are a mid rise but definitely more a high mid rise. Great stretch too. They run big. I’m in a 0 but probably could’ve done a 00 in this pair.
JEANS | TOP | HEELS
Actually grabbed this top off the clearance section but it’s still fully stocked. Super on trend with the ruffle sleeves and soft palette print. Double lined and easy one to dress up or down.

And here’s how I styled those jeans for date night. Bow heels and bodysuit both on major sale too.
Ok so I’ll be upfront. There are a few pieces in my April styles from Express that you’re either gonna love or hate. Starting with these crossover jeans. Notice the crossover where the button is? It’s a big trend right now. I too struggled with how to style them. My tip is to wear something a bit more fitted and tuck it in. Would I buy this style in a designer pair? Absolutely not. But if you want to have fun with the trend this pair is a great price and the denim quality is perfect on them. I did cut the bottoms but they have nice stretch. Wearing size 0.
JEANS | TANK | SANDALS
Express does these slub style tops in tanks, tees, and long sleeve tees and I’ll tell ya what — they are some of my favorites. This fabric is SO GOOD! Super light, soft and comfortable to wear. I do size down in this style. Wearing an XS. So many cute spring colors!
CAMISOLE | JEANS | SANDALS
Tons of cute floral tops on Express right now in so many cute styles. I chose this floral cami because well I just didn’t get cute camisoles yet this season. The straps are adjustable, working drawstring waist, double lined and just so dang girly! Would look cute with a blazer over it and can be styled with high waisted shorts come summer too. Wearing a size small.
TEE | JEANS | SANDALS
Remember when I told you there would be some pieces you’ll either love or hate in my April styles from Express? This is the tee you’re either gonna love or hate LOL. I personally love it as I’m so into big statement sleeves right now. And to be honest — this is just a basic tee with an elevated sleeve detail. That same great slub material as the tan ruffle tank I just showed you so it feels amazing on. Tons of cute colors to choose from in this one too. If the sleeves are too much for you consider the gray slub tee I styled in my last Express haul. Same fabric but a minimal tulip sleeve to it.
