What a trip to Nashville we had! Granted we came home with the best surprise ever (read more about that here). I’ve gone to Nashville before but I truly fell in love with the city this time. Both Erik and I said we would consider retiring there one day. The vibe was amazing and if there is one city where everyone gets into the fashion it’s Nash! Had so much fun planning out outfit ideas for Nashville. Kept it super affordable, practical as we had Summer along with us, but super on trend for this super fun city!
DENIM JACKET | ROMPER | BAG | HAT | BOOTS
I really kept it pretty simple when planning outfit ideas for Nashville. I didn’t want to pack a ton of clothes. Rompers are great for trips. One piece and you are pretty much done. Just make sure you have some country florals, ruffles and/or smocking details. This romper is frilly and has a zipper in the back making the quality really good.
As for what accessories to pack when planning outfit ideas for Nashville you really just need 3 key pieces. A fedora or cowboy hat, a boho style bag and boots. This bag was the perfect size for romping around town and my fedora hat is an old favorite that I’ve been wearing for years. As for boots, I was tempted to buy white cowboy boots but any short bootie you have in your closet will work just fine and complete your Nashville look.
This outfit was perfect for shopping around The Gulch and grabbing lunch on Broadway. Cute easy pieces that I’ll style back in NJ all summer long too. Boho midi and maxi skirts with graphic tees just work for that Nashville cute kinda look.
Absolutely think kimonos when planning outfit ideas for Nashville! Pretty much anything boho can work in this fun city. Love this fringe option. Nashville just calls for anything with fringe. And this kimono can double as a bathing suit coverup too. The back has a pretty crochet sun too!
See what I mean? Any kimono will work!
SHIRT DRESS | BELT | BAG | HAT | BOOTS
This was probably my favorite outfit I put together when planning outfit ideas for Nashville. Ready for the kicker? I forgot to bring it LOL! Major fail. But what a great dress! You can belt this, front knot it with shorts or wear it open with a tank and cutoffs. Such a great piece that you can style a ton of ways.
And of course distressed jeans always work well in Nashville. Just make sure to wear your boots! The ruffles on the sleeves of this tank just added to the vibe perfectly!
My one piece of advice when planning outfit ideas for Nashville — have fun with it! Trust me when I say the girls are all decked out in boots, hats and cute Nashville fashion. Leave the basics at home and enjoy creating some fun outfits. Can’t wait to go back soon!
