My local NJ followers — this is for you! You may have seen me promoting this event on Facebook and Instagram. I am so excited and honored to be hosting an exclusive and private event at Bluemercury in The Grove in Shrewsbury this coming Thursday 11/29 from 7-9pm.Read More
This outfit honestly deserved a post all of it’s own. I did a recap of my NYFW weekend in this post but with so many party photos I thought I would do a traditional NYC outfit post by itself. I’m not gonna lie. Picking an outfit was stressful. I had so many different ideas but what I wore to for the NYFW Reward Style party was pretty classic, simple but had a little edge. Read More
So a ton goes into running a blog. It’s a full time side job for me. I plan content out for the month. We shoot blog photos every weekend. I write posts, edit photos, add links, and a ton of time goes into promoting my blog on social media. The other part is the shopping. A ton of strategy goes into shopping weekly and planning looks that are trending and not sold out for me to shoot in the blog posts. While I love shopping it takes a lot of time and work to plan blog outfits. So when DAILYLOOK reached out to me to review their subscription box service, I was all about it! They would do the styling and shopping for me? YES PLEASE! Read More
Happy dance! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale boxes have started rolling in. I won’t dare post a photo of what my front porch looked like yesterday. It was absurd. I think I heard my UPS guy saying some not so nice things as he walked back down my driveway. Ok not really. I mean surely I can’t be the only girl in my area who ordered a boatload of stuff from the #nsale. Erik man. I gotta say you are taking this all so well. I sound like a broken record telling him, “Don’t worry. It’s not all staying.”
I am gonna break this down into a couple of posts. My deliveries come at night and it’s hard to get everything photographed. This weekend I’ll be able to put more outfits together but for now I wanted to get some Nordstrom Anniversary Sale basics out there for you to see. The only way to do this and get it to you quickly was with selfies. I promise lots of outfit posts coming soon!
So onto the basics. I got so many closet staples from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale that can be worn starting now and I know I’ll be incorporating these into outfits all year long.
Major obsession. So light, yet fluffy. Perfect for wearing now. Sadly it sold out fast, but hopefully they will restock it. Keep checking and if it doesn’t get restocked no worries. I have listed a few other great scarves.
*TOP PICK* I was nervous about these jeans, but they fit great. They are cropped. Clearly not cropped on my 5’2 frame but that makes the length perfect for me. Love the distressing (like I need another pair of distressed jeans LOL) and the frayed hem that is so in right now. These jeans are in all the pictures below too.
*TOP PICK* These booties are one of my favorite picks! Low heel, yummy color. Just perfection! I model them a few pictures down. Fit true to size (TTS).
*TOP PICK* At $15.90 I knew I had to get this T-shirt. The v neck on it is not too low. No bra hanging out from it and they are SO soft! I got a size Small.
*TOP PICK* These shoes!!! Ahh-mazing!!! Love the color, great heel height and the peep toe is great for now, fall and spring. Definitely a fav! Fit TTS.
Same T-shirt but in gray.
*TOP PICK* I mentioned in my last post if you buy only 1 item in the #nsale make it these Zella leggings. My mom ordered a pair and she loves them. They are a steal at this price and the quality is like none other. I wear a size small.
LOVE these boots. The color is such a pretty, soft gray but they are high. They aren’t uncomfortable but they are definitely higher than most boots I have.
Such a classic fall scarf. Can’t go wrong with these colors when the weather starts to change.
Another great scarf. It’s reversible so you get more bang for you buck.
*TOP PICK* Seriously cannot wait to wear these booties. Wish I got a side view for you. Trust me. These will be your go to bootie this fall and winter.
*TOP PICK* What is it about cozy cardigans? They instantly make me wish for hot chocolate by a fire. Not wishing for that right now because I’m all about this 90 degree heat wave we are having, but this sweater is that sweater! It’s so soft and not overly baggy. Love this one. Another fav!
Did this post give you the shopping bug yet? No worries. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale opens to the public tomorrow 7/21. Hopefully you get some of these basics to add to your wardrobe. Also, a lot of things have sold out already but many things get restocked daily so keep checking back. The sale goes on for a few weeks so don’t give up if one of your favorites isn’t available.
If you are reading this then you have discovered my blog and have taken the time to come check it out and for that I have to say thank you! This is hands down the scariest thing I have ever done. Most people have a passion, a hobby they love. Hate to admit it but one of mine is shopping. I know on the surface that sounds so tacky and cliché. But truly I do. I love putting outfits together on a budget. It’s like a high for me to put something together that I truly love and know I did it for the look for less. I do it for myself and for Summer (Erik on the other hand…well let’s just say he tends to splurge on his clothes). I love when friends come to me for shopping or outfit advice. I love scrolling through Instagram and getting inspired by other fashion lovers. For so long I’ve wanted to share my great finds, my great outfits with others, but so much has held me back. Would I seem full of myself? Would I look like a narcissist? Would my friends think less of me? Would people think I lack style and character?Read More
